With the "idol" group SS501’s contract with DSP Entertainment set to expire on June 8, there is a lot of speculation about the group’s future. SS501’s leader, Kim Hyun Joon, has received many calls from management agencies hoping to sign him on. Many people see a high probability that he will move to his best friend TVXQ Hero’s agency. People in the entertainment industry have said that it would be impossible to move all of the members to same agency and that the only way for all five members to stay together is to stay with DSP Entertainment. One expert on the entertainment industry said, “Even if the members, including Kim Hyun Jung, decide to switch to different agencies, they might still be able to remain together as SS501.” The group G.O.D. and Shinhwa have continued their group activities even after they spread out to different agencies. In any case, the SS501 members haven’t signed on with anyone new yet.
