[News] Kim Hyun Joong performed campaign song for swine flu prevention

Kim Hyun-Jung from singing group SS501 participated in a campaign song to prevent swine flu.

Kim Hyun-Jung, who was diagnosed with swine flu, is fully recovered now and sang the campaign song to prevent swine flu on SBS show ‘Star King’.

The title of the campaign song is ‘Washing Hand in Hand’, a re-arranged acappella version of ‘Hand in Hand’, sung by Koreana, with revised lyrics. The lyrics are about the precautionary measures against swine flu. All the casts on ‘Star King,’ including popular idols such as SS501, Shinee and T-ara, participated in the campaign song with acappella group Voiture.

Kim Hyun-Jung remarked, “I was frightened and terrified after I was diagnosed with swine flu.” He also added, “Swine flu can be prevented if you wash your hands often and do not get scared.” Voiture is an a cappella group who placed first, leaving 27 countries including Japan and USA behind in a contest under the auspices of International Olympic Committee.

The swine flu campaign song sung by Kim Hyun-Jung and all other casts will be unveiled on ‘Star King’ on 21st at 6:30pm.
