SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong humbly admits “I always in and out Police Station when I was a student”
MBC “Golden Fishery Radio Show” SS501 special last part aired on 12/16. That day Kim Hyun Joong said ”I had requested to drop out in high school because I love fighting and Police came to school for many times. I was young at that time and know nothing. ” People around breathlessly listening to Kim Hyon Joong to speak. Insisted it happened in his naughty childhood, Kim Hyun Joong said ”I even thought that was handsome, however, now I know that people need to have discipline in this world.” his joke-like tone funny description make the guests laugh.

In MBC ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star’ broadcasted on 16-Dec, SS501 replied to the question why the number of members is 5, “There were 7 of us when we were undergoing training, 2 members left because they had some issues.” At that time, HyungJoon was not in good terms with the 2 members.
Member JungMin explained the atmosphere at that time “At that time (the youngest in the group) these friends really listen to us very well (obedient) but HyungJoon would rebel when we say anything.”
HyungJoon explained “I was in rival with them at that time. These young (younger than me) teamed up and tortured me.” His unstoppable confession was done when he received 1 vote for ‘approve’ in the voting for removing members, giving laughter to ‘Radio Star’ MCs.

[News] Kim HyunJoong “f(x) is the prettiest among girl groups”

Kim HyunJoong made a surprise confession that he likes f(x) the most out of the recent girl groups.
Group SS501’s leader Kim HyunJoong appeared in MBC ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star’ on 9-Dec, was being asked by the MC “Recently, which girl group is the most eye-catching” and he replied “I like f(x) the most”.
He said “Every time I see them they would greet ‘Annyaseyo~ We are f(x)’ that they look very cute in. Because they have foreigner members, their pronunciation are special so it is cute. F(x) is a multi-national girl group with members such as China-born Victoria, American born Chinese, etc.
Kim KyuJong said he likes Kara’s Kang JiYoung. When being asked by the MC ‘Did you like her because she is from the same management company as you?’, he replied “The reason is because she (Kang JiYoung) is beautiful like an entertainer(?)”, making the rest burst into laughter.
Heo YoungSaeng attracted attention when he said he likes SNSD’s TaeYeon the most. Heo YoungSaeng was a trainee in SM before, where he left to debut as SS501.
Finally, the 3rd part of SS501 will be broadcasted on 16-Dec on top of the past 2 episodes. The viewership for ‘Golden Fishery’ on 9-Dec recorded 19.3% in TNS Media Korea.

“If the management company is not going to dump me, I want to continue to stay. Actually, they have not contacted me yet.” Leader Kim HyunJoong said making the others laugh. MC Shin JungHwan then joked “The scary thing about the company president is that he is ex-Taekwondo athlete”, making the studio drown with sea of laughter.
In that case, debuting in 2005, in 4 years time SS501 rise to the top of Hallyu star dominating Asia, what would be their condition for re-contract?
In this episode, Heo YoungSaeng who is the main vocal wants a ‘practice room’ as his re-contract condition. And Kim KyuJong said his wish “I like variety programs so I hope that there will be a variety program that all 5 members of SS501 can appear in”.
Kim Hyun Joong said he hopes to hire professional bodyguards so that fans’ safely are more taken care of while Park JungMin wished for a better working environment for their managers.

[News] SS501 Park Jung Min reveals ‘Went into Fashion Business Partnership with Friend’

In MBC ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star’ broadcasted on 2-Dec, SS501 Kim HyunJoong revealed “Despite the discouragement from people around him, (Park JungMin) started his online shopping mall.”
Kim HyunJoong added “When I went into Park JungMin’s shopping mall, the ‘today’s visitor’ was zero, and became 1 when I went in.” making the others laugh with this comment.
Park JungMin explained regarding this “I did this with my friend and I didn’t reveal (to public) that I own it.”
Previously, Park JungMin tried to salvage his business by revealing discretely about this fashion business that he engaged with his friends through an interview with Nocutnews.
He went into partnership with his friend, selling hats and other items of which he is interested in. He revealed that that was his first time doing business and there were a lot of difficulties.
Park JungMin was asked during this show why he did not reveal himself (as the owner of the online shopping mall) and he said his company asked him not to.
Usually artistes would display themselves as the owner of the online shopping mall, and this will give an advertising impact for the business.
Meanwhile, SS501 has been promoting ‘Love like this’, the title song for their mini album ‘REBIRTH’. They are ending their music activities in Korea and going on with their Asia Tour.
