Oh well, our boys did not win any of the award nominated but their results are not that bad.. anyway they will not be attending the ceremony tonight either due to their packed schedule. Just to share the results with you for a record.. :)

The 2009 Melon Music Awards will be kicking off tonight and we're getting ready to cover this star studded event! We have high hopes for this one as the majority of artists from all of the major entertainment labels have confirmed their attendance.

After the first two highly controversial award shows this year with the Mnet Asian Music Awards going to YG Entertainment artists and the Golden Disk Awards being dominated by the SM Family, the Melon Music Awards play a key role in determining who the best artists of 2009 "really" are, as they hold the tie breaking vote.

In addition to the confirmation of attendance from various major artists, there will be lots of sexy spectacles, with SNSD, Kara, 2NE1 and Brown Eyed Girls, set to put on a very special "Girl Power" joint performance.

Although SM Entertainment artists are dominating the online polls, we'll have to wait to see which artists nab the awards. Stay tuned to allkpop for full coverage, starting tonight at 7PM Korea Standard Time!

[News] SS501 will not attend “Melon Music Awards” , Kara not decided

Best Group ‘SS501′ announced withdrew from attending the Mellon Music Awards.

DSP Entertainment official company of ‘SS501′ in a telephone interview with TV Daily declared that ” ‘SS501′ on the Asian Tour calendar cannot be attend, ‘Kara’ also seems unlikely to attend but not confirmed yet,” he said.

Prior to this, SM Entertainment’s’ Girls’ Generation ‘and’ super junior ‘reveals that it’s possible to attend Mellon Music Awards. The stars list expected to be ‘ SS501 ‘’s absence and ‘ Kara ” Big Bang ‘are undecided whether to attend.

Meanwhile, Mellon Music Awards covering the best of the 16 awards of released songs, albums during the year. Ceremony will be held at 7pm in the Olympic Hall, Olympic Park.

Step 7: Then go to next page for 2009 Mania category and vote again for SS501

Step 8: Then again to 2009 Special Album to vote for BOF OST

Step 9: Keep voting for the last category, a confirmation will appear afterward
