Hangin’ with the homies. SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong was spotted playing some soccer with friends at a local neighborhood field. Some pictures and a short clip were uploaded onto the internet on the I Love Soccer thread of Daum, check it out.

The pics are believed to have been taken about 2 weeks ago, sometime after the end of their Persona Concerts in Seoul. It’s great to see one of our Kpop idols being able to just relax and have fun with friends. Of course they never really get away from it all since these pics were posted. A question that a lot of netizens were asking was what neighborhood this was, but you know what, let it be a secret so maybe he can play with friends again without getting mobbed.

In the reports it said that Hyun Joong had great manners, seemed healthy and played a good game of soccer. It was also commented that even if he was just playing soccer with friends he still kept up his fashionable ways with his casual athletic wear and shoes that matched his team’s vest. I wonder if that was just a coincidence? I’m glad Hyun Joong was able to have some fun, I’m sure his schedule will soon be filled with all kinds of activities being the hot commodity that he is. The poor guy does still however look like he could use a good night’s sleep.
