Leader has arrived in Singapore on 17th Aug! There was NO event on the 18th as we know of.. He had a press conference this morning, followed by a store vist at CauseWay Point outlet and Meet-And-Greet session at Resort World Sentosa - The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel! The weather was really HOT and HUMID!! Fans had been queuing along the sheltered walkway since early morning for fanmeet scheduled for 3:30pm. Yes, a long wait! TFS only allowed admission into the venue at 2:30pm onwards. Throughout the whole day, the sun refused to relent. BUT, dark clouds started to gather and it rained just minutes before his arrival!!! We KNEW IT! All in all, the whole event went well and fans were happy! Here are some pictures to share..

I am officially saying goodbye to all of you here.

Yes, this is the destination of my fan blog journey and it's time for me to make my exit here. I had initially written a short and sweet farewell note but it doesn't seem like the case after some amendments. Sorry that I ended up with an essay here. (T.T)

Had wanted to leave on a lighter note but it happened to concide with the breaking news on the contract issues. Had been expecting related news to surface around this period, but I didn't foresee it to hit upon this juncture. Really, I did NOT leave because Leader left for another agency. I still believe in 5-FOREVER-AS-1! So please do not associate my departure with that whole matter. I am still a part of the TripleS family..!! :)

I know most people are going through some mixed feelings now after the news about Leader's move were released. I must reiterate that no one in the group is to be blamed for what has happened or going to happen. Times and times again, we have seen and heard rumours that were mostly directed towards Leader (why ah..?). Haven't TripleS proven their love for these boys to the world and stood by them every time? It is important to hold that same faith now and believe in them, instead of putting all the blame on one person. Genuine TripleS should not and will not by swayed by negative news. As other versions of the story start to surface, please read cautiously, repeatedly and patiently. Do not jump to conclusion (yet)! You can share and discuss amongst yourselves but do not be quick to blame anyone. Let's just wait and see how things develop. Of course, it would be best to hear from the boys themselves.

Even if the worst is to happen, we will still love them in the same way (or did you choose not to..?). Their love and friendship were built up over years and will not break into pieces just because of their separate activities. So the same concept applies to the fans. How can we just turn around and forsake that love and trust we hold for our boys upon learning this incident? This is not a tea-session where you disperse after all the fun. TripleS are gonna stay right where they are, regardless where the boys may be. Naturally it hurts at the initial but you will come to accept reality and understand them eventually. Do you know it will hurt the boys even more to know their fans are easily shaken by the matter and started pointing faults? Didn't they tell us NOT to listen to the upcoming rumours during the X-Concert? Yea, just put your 501% trust in them! Everything happens for a reason. I cannot control your thoughts but try putting yourself in his/their shoes and think about it again.

Okay, back to what I should be rightfully writing today. Thank you for the encouraging words and support over these 9 months. Thank you to all who had commented or emailed me. Thank you to the silent ones too. I feel sorry for lacking in many areas and having to come to this decision. I feel the need to rebuild my own life now. It is a cold fact that our responsibilities will increase with our age and thus, it is not quite possible for everyone to commit to a 501% fan life. Sobz. Hence, I got to make a move first.

Because of BOF & WGM, I fell in love with Leader's 4D charm and began to check out on SS501. The more I learn about them, the more I love them and the more my heart cannot get enough. Because of these 5 shining stars, I created my first fan blog and acquainted many fellow TripleS through various forums & sites. We had laughed and cried with these boys for various reasons in one form or another. Beside the memories we created with them, I am sure there are many more reasons we can find to keep this love for them and I do not regret loving them. Perhaps the only regret is not being there for them earlier. Moving forward, I will try to get my daily doses from other sites. You too, please continue to love and support our boys until eternity.

SS501 Will Continue Despite Kim Hyun-joong Departing DSP Entertainment

All eyes have been on the frontman of SS501, Kim Hyun Joong, over the end of his contract with DSP Entertainment. Final confirmation arrived via many major news outlets early June 29th stating that Kim has indeed decided to leave DSP Entertainment for Keyeast Entertainment. Keyeast is where many well-known actors are signed under, including Bae Yong-joon (whom Kim Hyun-joong was sighted with before the official decision was made), Park Ye-jin, Bong Tae-gyoo, Lee Bo-young, Lee Na-young, and Hwanhee. Many have speculated that this decision will push him further into the acting realm.

Just because Kim has made his decision doesn't put the bigger issue to rest: what will happen to SS501? The main possible options were that the group would break up, the group would continue without their leader, or that they would continue their group activities with Kim signed under a different agency. Another related issue is that if Kim does indeed leave the group, will there be a new member to replace him?

Amid these speculations, Kim spoke out to Sports Korea saying that SS501 will not be breaking up. He said that although the remaining members have yet to make their decision regarding their contract with DSP, there are no plans at present for the group coming to an end. He said that whether he leaves and is replaced, or stays as the group's leader, the group as a whole will go on. DSP reported that as the other members are currently on vacation, their final decisions will not be made until they return.

Actor Park Yong-ha commits suicide

South Korean actor and singer Park Yong-ha has been found dead at his house in southern Seoul on Wednesday, the police said.

Park’s mother found him lifeless hanging from a cell phone charging cable in his room, according to the police.

After repeatedly saying “I’m sorry” to his family including his father who is suffering from a stomach cancer at around 0:40 a.m., he went into his room, local news reports said.

He earned his fame as a hallyu celebrity through TV drama “Winter Sonata.” Park was particularly popular among fans in Japan and Southeast Asia.

He was also scheduled to play the lead role in upcoming drama “Love Song,” a remake of the film “Chum Mil Mil,” with actress Yoon Eun-hye.

In a telephone interview with AFP, Kim Hyung Jun with the crying voice said “I can not believe it. What I do not know what’s going on.” and “How did this happen …” as cannot resume the talking.

After Kim Hyung Joon said with tears “Want to meet yesterday but cannot meet, see today also did the talk.”

Kim Hyung-joon when SS501 is active in Japan, has maintained a close relationship with Park Yong-ha who also as a singer in Japan. When came back to Korea, Park Yong-ha is like the real elder brother to Hyung Jun who follow and went on a close relationship.

Park Yong-ha willingly did a guest appearance to keep his loyalty for Kim Hyung-joon who is DJ to “Kim Hyung-joon Music high” of SBS radio shoe which processed at 3:00 a.m. in live broadcast.

If you have been following me on Twitter you would know that I have been tweeting about the death of Park Yong Ha. At the early age of 32 he was found dead inside his room by his mom.

Park reportedly died from hanging. He was found by his mother in his room with a cell phone cord around his neck.

Park Yong Ha is a friend to many stars. He's is one of So Ji Sub's best buddies. I've known him in Winter Sonata together with Bae Yong Joong. Currently, he is staring is a drama.

For some SS501 fans it's been known that Maknae is a friend of Park Yong Ha. Maknae together with brother Ki Bum went to Kangnam to pay their last respect to PYH.

Here are bits and pieces of news about Park Yong Ha's death lifted from dramabeans.

Park’s last phone call (or one of his last) was reportedly with DBSK’s Hero with whom he’d grown closer. Jaejoong is currently recording in the U.S said, “I spoke with him on the phone yesterday, and his voice sounded so bright. I didn’t feel he was at all different from his normal self. We agreed to have a drink together when I got back to Korea. I’m in such shock.”

Park had said in an interview that he suffered from depression, which was exacerbated by prolonged promotional activities abroad.

Park’s Story of a Man co-star Park Shi-yeon reportedly received a “huge shock” from the news and “is in very bad condition.”

Park occasionally in a down mood, but attributed it to news of Park’s father suffering from cancer.

Around 12:40 am, he was with his father, massaging his father’s legs.

Male group SS501’s leader Kim Hyun Joong has signed an exclusive contract with Bae YongJoon’s Key East, while the remaining 4 members are enjoying a break and deciding on their future advancement.

SS501’s contract with DSP Media was due at the beginning of this month. DSP revealed through an official press release on 29-Jun “Leader Kim HyunJoong has decided to sign contract with Key East which holds Bae YongJoon and Lee NaYoung under its company. However, the other 4 members have not come to a decision yet.”

In addition, DSP Media said “Kim Hyung Joon has been doing DJ for SBS Power FM ‘Music High’ and seems like he has come to a decision. Heo YoungSaeng, Kim KyuJong, Park JungMin are having a break for the time being and will be making their decision.”

SS501’s disbanding is still not confirmed yet. However, as a representative of Korean idol group in Asia region through their Asia Tour held last year, their fans in Asia will feel even more regrettable for SS501.

Management company Key East revealed on 29th that “Kim Hyun Joong has signed an exclusive contract with Key East.”

Following that, Kim HyunJoong will move his activities from DSP Media to Key East. And with the change of management company, naturally he will be dropped out of SS501 too.

SS501 management company DSP Media said to Newsen through a telephone conversation today “Whether they are going on as 4-member group or adding a new member, we have not decided on SS501’s activities yet.”

Currently, SS501 members besides Kim HyunJoong, are approaching the ending of their contract with DSP Media which is the top priority rather than the planning for the activities.

However, where Kim Hyun Joong latest acquaintances mentioned the fact to Sports Korea alone confirmed ”There is no formal dissolution”. An official said “Kim Hyun-joong this year worry was deep for his career. Even if you walk just a move, there is no official dissolution of the team and will adhere to the basic position. Says to the acquaintances until recently thus. Seems that will maintain SS501 where held in some kind of form.”

Variables remain. If the team continues, the worry of operating method is deep. From the myth of ex-example, if a member moves as one agency, although does not matter, the possibility is thin from the present point of view. In the case of GOD, also as agency based on different company, the possibility that will go into a time limit action is perceived.

Above all, the yes or no of where Key East Kim Hyun-joong joined hand would guarantee SS501 activities is also the concern. This is the same with the other members. Although that the continuance will of the members is high, understanding the relationship between agency must match if the project activity is possible.

SS501's member Kim Hyun Joong recently signed with BYJ's Keyeast. In fact, he has already departed from the group SS501. SS501's management company DSP Entertainment's representative expressed that "after Kim Hyun Joong left SS501, it is still uncertain whether SS501 will continue with future activities."

At last, Kim Hyun Joong chose BYJ's Keyeast as his new management company. During the interview, Keyeast's representative announced that "from now on, the company will do its best to help Kim Hyun Joong's entertainment career and train him to become a world level celebrity."

Because KHJ signed with a new company, people are curious about whether SS501 continue its activity as a group. To this, Keyeast representative expressed that even though KHJ has left DSP Entertainment company, but he still kept a good relationship with the other SS501 members. Kim Hyun Joong confirmed to leave DSP Entertainment

For the past couple of months, there have been rumors circulating that SS501’s leader Kim Hyun Joong would leave his agency DSP Entertainment once his contract comes to an end.

Well, it’s been confirmed that this one is true after all.

A related source confirmed on the 28th, “Kim Hyun Joong has decided not to renew his contract with DSP Entertainment. … He will move to another agency.”

Due to Kim Hyun Joong’s decision to leave DSPE, there are now questions about the rest of the members of SS501. Many wonder if this will mark the end of SS501, or whether the rest of the members will follow the routes of Shinhwa and g.o.d and complete promotional activities together with Hyun Joong under different agencies.

Furthermore, it is currently known that the rest of the members of SS501 are working on renewing their contracts with DSPE. Stay tuned to allkpop for future information regarding this matter.

Invited by Golden Melody Awards, Korean group SS501 members Park JungMin and Kim HyungJun arrives in Taiwan, casually dressed, and was greeted by 400 fans. In order to be upclose and personal to their idols, the fans cracked their brains and came up with various ways. They weren’t supposed to be interviewed, but there were fans who had microphones that had TVBS (a broadcast company) words stuck on it, closing up on them to stop them, luckily they were being stopped by the staffs who saw through the trick. Both of them received presents and will occasionally shake hands with the fans and greeted them.

This time round, the fans were disappointed that not all members of SS501 can be present. Channel [V] “Korean Popular Songs” that will be broadcasted today will have a section on “Comeback Special”, and fans will be able to see all members of SS501 in silver grey suits, singing their new song ‘Love ya’.

Golden Melody Awards will be held on Saturday, Korean idol group SS501 are originally being invited to perform on stage but due to their contract issues, 3 of the 5 members weren’t able to attend, so their performance had to be cancelled, and the 2 members will be attending as award presenters. They arrived at TaoYuan airport at night, and there are fans that chased them all the way from inside the airport till the members got on to their vehicles.

SS501 members : “Hello, Hello.”

2 of the members from Korean idol group SS501 flew all the way to Taiwan to be the award presenter for Golden Melody Awards. They were surrounded by fans the moment they alight from the plane.

Enthusiastic fans gave gifts and there are even some who followed them closely with a camera on hand to film the whole process. 3 bodyguards and record company’s staffs were on their sides to open up a way for both of them to walk through. SS501 member Park JungMin said “Hello everyone, I am JungMin, Park JungMin. We are SS501, Fighting fighting.”

Cheering in advance for his appearance as an award presenter, they are going to present 2 awards at the Golden Melody Awards, best group and best composer awards. Even though all 5 members couldn’t be present, there are still many fans waiting to welcome them at the airport, the enthusiasm isn’t any lesser because of the absence of 3 members.

SS501 members Kim Hyung Jun and Park Jung Min appeared for a short 10 minutes on Golden Melody Award, fans all felt that isn’t enough. On 27th afternoon, before Kim Hyung Jun depart, he specially congratulated A-Mei for winning the best female artiste. Park Jung Min stayed in Taiwan for another day. There’s rumours that said he and producer , Chai Zhi Ping met up to discuss about a new show, but Chai Zhi Ping clarified that there’s no such plan right now.

After attending the Golden Melody Award, Kim Hyung Jun and Park Jung Min first went to a Korean restaurant for dinner, then rush back to their hotel to watch the World Cup. Didn’t expect that South Korea would lose, they said: “ It’s ok, it’s a glorious defeat, will come back again in 4 years” Kim Hyung Jun congratulated A-Mei for snagging 6 awards:”Although I don’t know her, but please help me to convey my message, congratulations!” When he heard that their new mini album “Love Ya” was sold more than 10thousand for the first batch, he left Taiwan feeling satisfied.

Park Jung Min who is filled with energy, after watching the World Cup, he went to the Nightclub to have fun. He was there till 3am and went out for dinner with his friends yesterday. Rumors said that he might be joining [Comic International Productions Co., Ltd.] for their new show, producer Chai Zhi Ping said, have to overcome the language barrier, “He doesn’t speaks Chinese, I don’t speak Korean, we met up previously for dinner is simply because we have a common friend.”

But but but, I must work extra harder to increase my CGPA still. Sorry that this post is really way out of any relevance to our boys but I couldn't conceal my happiness. I woke up at 5 am and decided to get pictures of the sunrise. When I passed his room, he was there at the veranda. I could not believe it. Leader awake at 5:20 am (that was the time when I passed his room). I did not expect him to be awake, with his history of having a hard time waking up. His two security guards were outside the room, chilling.

A friend informed me that there was a Korea soccer match at 2 am. So, it could be that he did not sleep yet and was still awake from watching the soccer match or he really just woke up early.

I passed by his room again at 7:20 am. He was still there with his very distinct voice, talking with his friends.

My family and I swam at the pool the whole morning. There were no signs of him the whole time. We left the resort at around 1:30. Before that we strolled around the resort but were not able to catch a glimpse of leader. At 1:00 pm, his companions had lunch at the Kilimanjaro restaurant but no leader. He was probably sleeping now after staying up late to watch the soccer match (only my guess).

I then deduced that he would be taking the midnight trip as he was still at the resort at 1:30 pm. His group was booked up to this day, June 23.

We, with other tsp fans here in Cebu, then planned to go see him off at the airport. I got there at 9 pm and the others got there at 8 pm. I am so grateful to leader. Because of him, I have new friends (Kimy, Richelle, Kristine, Danyelle, Sherry, Jubhe) whom I would never have any chance to meet if it were not for our love of him. I got to meet these friends through the blogs and internet. I also met in the airport two other tsp fan. They went there just to get a glimpse of leader. Nice meeting you, Sherry and Kitkat.

We positioned ourselves at the chairs facing the entrance so we can see him as he comes inside. At 10:00, there was still no sign of him. Finally, at around 10 plus, one of his bodyguards arrived. I informed the others. After awhile the dancers and make up artists came too. They stopped in front of us. We sat there just getting giddy at the thought that he is on the way. We sat the whole time, really quiet and trying to contain our excitement.

The dancers stood there just milling around. They even started doing some dance moves right there. A Korean guy in shorts came and the female Korean who met them when leader arrived came also. They facilitated the getting of tickets. They took the passports and tickets and brought inside the departure area. This took like an hour or so. The whole time, the dancers were just standing, talking, sitting and even dancing. One dancer did the ‘love ya’ dance moves. Another two did dance turns and so forth.

The group of course noticed us and I’m sure they knew that we were waiting for leader. I was especially feeling conscious because I was worried that some of them might recognize me from Plantation bay. I did see them so several times there. However, we did not disturb them and so I guess they did not mind us at all also.

This whole time, leader was inside the van parked outside the airport. Another tsp fan was there and she saw him inside the van. One of the security guards told her no pictures but it is okay to take a video. Sadly, her video was accidentally erased.

The sales ladies inside the airport started to get excited as they learned that leader was here and on his way. However, after a long time, he still did not come out.

At 12 plus, the dancer group went inside but leader still did not come out. We were getting worried if he might use a different entry. At this time, there were very little people left at the airport. Only two group of passengers and their family and friend were left and of course us. One of the passengers was a Korean. They also learned about leader and got excited.

Finally, we saw the airport guard asking people to move aside. We then knew he was coming. All of a sudden more people appeared. Just a second ago, the airport was very quiet and with very little people and suddenly people just appeared. Leader with Laura, 3 security guards (in black shirts and jeans) and a dancer came inside the airport. One security guard went ahead to part he crowd, while the other two stood beside leader. He wore the same shirt he did to the fan meeting in Manila minus the black vest. He was wearing shades again but his hair was just down without the ponytail. Everyone followed leader until he reached the entrance door of the departure area. People were taking pix and videos. People were also saying ‘I love you’, ‘oppa sarangheyo’, ‘leader’ and others.

Earlier, two of my new friends (Kim and Rich) prepared letters and gift for leader. They were wondering if he would take them. I told them that I am sure he will. As leader was walking up the stairs towards the departure area, he saw them holding out their gifts and letters. He really reached out and took them. See how nice he is. My friends were so kilig of course to have their letters personally received by leader. Go girls!

Inside the departure area, you can see from the video that leader really kept looking back at us, at the people who were there to say goodbye. He faced the crowd and waved and he even said ‘kamsamhamnida’. Before disappearing from view, he raised both hands and waved.

Goodbye leader. It was great meeting you. The whole experience feels so surreal but unforgettable.

Leader was initially booked at Imperial Palace resort but he did not push thru, maybe because it was crowded and more people will recognize him. He then checked in at Mactan Isla Resort and Spa in Lapu-lapu. He stayed at Isla resort because he is friends with the owner. There was no booking for him there. His friend probably offered and he obliged.

Initially he was set to stay at Isla resort for 3 days. However, he checked out on June 21 at 3 pm. He wanted to swim either Monday am or Sunday night and was not able to due to the pool being chlorinated. I heard another version of the reason why he could not swim but I will not get into that. But he was able to swim one time. He has a nice body according to people who saw him (we know that already). he he he

So, Leader moved to Plantation bay resort on June 21 at past 3 pm. That night his group went out for dinner.

June 22, 2010, an angel (he he he) booked a room for me and my family at Plantation Bay resort and spa. I was not sure if he was really there; I hoped and prayed he would be. I was there anyway for my family.

After settling into our room, we went around the resort. We went inside their gift shop and after awhile, two big guys came inside- his two bodyguards. OMG! I thought to myself, leader is really here. The 2 security guys just looked around.

We continued with our walk, my companions wanted to ride the cart as they were getting tired from walking. I flagged down a cart and there sitting was Laura, the Korean interpreter. I sat down beside her. This really confirms that leader was here. She got off at a building and I noted this building as this could be leader’s room and it was. The 2 security guys I saw in the gift shop were there and got on the go cart as well.

We then went to the restaurant to get drinks. Leader’s friends (my friends said they were his dancers and make up artist) were having lunch there. There were around 9 guys, including the bodyguards and 3 girls, including Laura with Leader in this trip.

We went to the pool to swim. At around 4 pm, leader’s companions went to the pool to swim. No sign of leader.

I invited two friends to come visit me at Plantation. They arrived at 5 pm. They went around the resort in the hopes of seeing leader. I stayed at the pool with my family.
At 5:30, the KHJ group stopped swimming and left. At around 6:30 pm my friends came back and reported that they did not see leader at all. I then decided to stroll around the resort with them. I showed them first the other fresh water pool. It was in an elevated place with just 4 steps. We looked around. As we walked down the steps out of the pool area and back to the main walkway, I heard voices. At the end of the step, I looked up and there walking towards us was leader with 3 other companions. Leader looked at us, paused and smiled. He really paused and he looked like he was waiting for a reaction from us. Our eyes met and I smiled. We continued walking like it was any other ordinary day. That was around 6:43 pm. When we were at a distance where he couldn’t see us, that was the time we freaked out. HA HA HA. Beforehand, I told my friends that we just have to be relaxed and not disturb him. I wanted him to have a relax time here and not be harassed.

That moment we met him was played out like in a slow motion movie. Our hearts really stopped. It was like everything was moving at a very slow pace.

That time he was walking was the time he just came from playing soccer with his friends at the tennis court. Talk about being a soccer freak, he he he. He was wearing a sleeveless gray shirt with some print or design and board shorts. He had his hair in the same way when he arrived, the small ponytail on top of his head. He was sweating but still looked good. He was talking and was having fun with his companions. His other companions walked out of the tennis court after awhile.

My friends and I continued our stroll. We were floating the whole time. I went back to the pool where my family was still swimming. My two friends decided to stroll some more in the hopes of seeing him again. I decided to swim then as I have already seen leader. At around 7:15 pm, my friends’ texed that they got information that leader and his party of dancers will have dinner at Galapagos beach (the beach area of the resort where there is a bar. Tables and chairs are set up for guests) where there will be a cultural show. They decided to stay there and wait for him. I opted to stay in the pool and continued swimming. At around 7:30 or so, I saw leader’s friends and one bodyguard enter Kilimanjaro restaurant beside the pool where I was. I thought, maybe they are not joining leader in the beach area. However, after 10 minutes or so, leader comes in with the rest of his party. They started ordering and chatting. I couldn’t believe my luck. He was on a table right beside the pool. I had a very nice view of him eating. He did look up from his eating once and saw me in the pool. No one else was swimming, except me and my family (I was with 3 family members). I got a video of him (discretely, without him noticing) while eating. The video is dark and not so clear but at least I got something.
Near 8 pm. my friends came to the pool as they heard that he was in the pool restaurant. I asked them to get a video of him while eating. They were able to position themselves at the top of the steps of the slide outside the restaurant. Aside from my friends, staff from other departments went in groups of 3 and 4 to look at leader in the restaurant. Everybody kept their distance and just looked at him from outside the restaurant. They were so excited to see him but only observed from afar. Even the cooks and kitchen staff stared at leader from the kitchen, just observing him.

At 8 pm, the pool was closed for cleaning and we had to stop swimming. I decide to eat at the restaurant. As we entered the restaurant, leader and some oh his companions looked up. I caught his eye again. I just went to a table and sat down. I purposely sat with my back to him coz I know I will not be able to help myself from staring. After awhile, I did turn casually and looked at him. He also turned to look up and our eyes met again. My heart stopped again. I am getting heart burns from this, he he he. I just looked away, deadma ang drama. I don’t know how I managed to sit there and not rush to him and just hugged him. I glanced at him again at another time and just perfect timing, he would also look up and catch my eye.

They chatted while eating. I heard kimchi being delivered to their table. He has a loud voice and would stand out from the rest or maybe I have his voiced memorized and so I can pick out his voice from the rest. Anyway, I enjoyed my meal while listening to him talk to his companions. After he was done, he left ahead of the others. He stood up, one bodyguard went ahead, he followed and another bodyguard followed him. Laura also stood up to go after him but she came back to the table. I was able to video this but very short. The staff said kamsamhamnida to him and he slightly bowed in return.
After eating, I went back to the room. We got information that his group was going out and that they were at the lobby. Maybe they will hang out somewhere. At around 10 pm, my family and I went swimming again. When we passed by his room, we heard voices inside. So, I’m not sure if he really went out or stayed in. They were booked in Iguaso building with 3 or 4 rooms (not too sure) sharing an open sala. It had a big veranda and it was slightly covered with trees. Plantation bay has different names for each of their buildings and places. The reception lobby was called Alcatraz, the buildings are named from A to Z.

I went to sleep that night contented to be in the same place as leader.

Kim Hyun Joong was accompanied by bodyguards, was friendly to passengers, responded to fans’ greetings, but didn’t accommodate requests for photographs, Carleizle Gonzaga, one of the Cebu Pacific flight attendants on-duty, told The FREEMAN.

She said that Korean tourists, who were on the same flight, were the ones who immediately recognized the South Korean idol.

Kim Hyun Joong was in Manila over the weekend as the special guest of the popular Korean Pop group Beast, which had a successful concert at the Araneta Coliseum last Saturday.

When asked if the “Boys Over Flowers” star was a hotel guest at the Korean-owned, five-star Imperial Palace Resort in Mactan, a source told The FREEMAN, “Yeah, he was supposed to arrive yesterday (Sunday), but he has not checked into (Imperial) yet.” As far as the source knows, the singer-actor is here in Cebu for vacation and not for work.

Imperial Palace has been the home of visiting Korean stars, becoming the set location of TV programs for the Korean channel KBS and videos of KPop stars like F.T. Island, 4Men, supermodel Jessica Gomes, among others.

Apart from Imperial Palace, Shangri-La Resort Mactan is also a choice hotel of Korean celebs, where KPop superstar Rain held the first fashion shoot for his clothing label and where the entire cast of the TV series “Jumong,” which was also aired in the Philippines, had their victory party-cum-vacation. 1st Encounter - My friend and I arrived at the hotel really early, around 9am. We stayed at the lobby, and waited because the check-in time at the hotel was 2pm. When we arrived at the hotel there were already a number of security people there waiting at the lobby. We didn't know exactly what time Leader would be arriving but we heard it's around noon. So we ordered some food at the cafe in the lobby and waited patiently (with bated breaths, I might add), for Kim Hyun Joong. There were Koreans out and about (including Laura, Leader's translator) talking to the security and hotel staff, and discussing with other Filipino people (who we assumed were the organizers). After a few hours, the security people were starting to move and took their posts near the hotel entrance. My heart was pounding really fast and hard, I felt like it was about to go out of my chest. There weren’t that many fans in the hotel that time. A white Benz limousine stopped at the entrance, and there he was... tall, slim, wearing a gray, long sleeved shirt underneath a black coat and faded fitting jeans. His hair was windblown and he was wearing sunglasses (the one that Cody noona bought from Duty Free at the airport). I saw Leader in Bangkok during their Persona tour but this was the first time I actually saw him up close, right in front of me. When he entered the hotel, one of the staff put on a Sampaguita (Philippine national flower) around his neck. He paused, smiled then continued walking (Leader walks really fast!). He passed by us, we waved at him, and he gave us a little smile and nod. He and his huge bodyguards went to the elevator while Cody noona and SS501 dancers followed suit. Aaaaah! My first ever encounter with our dear Leader. We were trying to get a video with our digicam and cellphone but the guards were so strict! They kept telling us that videos and pictures were NOT ALLOWED. So we just contented ourselves by looking at Leader. God he's tall! And really slender! We were so starstruck and giddy with that first short encounter.
2nd Encounter - At around 1:30pm, since we can't check in at the hotel yet, my friend and I decided to go to the 3rd floor and wait there. We just sat there on the chairs in front of the hotel restaurant. We were wondering where Leader was when at that very moment, the elevator on the 2nd floor opened, and out went Leader! Gosh, I was sooooo surprised. My heart was pumping so fast, I could hardly breathe. I didn't expect him to go out of his hotel room so soon. He was with the dancers and a few Korean bodyguards were following them. I was just looking at him, couldn't keep my eyes off him while he passed us by. He looked in our direction and my eyes locked with his for about 2 seconds! Aaaaaaah!!! I felt like I was gonna faint. They entered the restaurant, and since we haven't had lunch yet, we decided that maybe we should eat our lunch there too! We didn't want to disturb them so we just quietly entered a few minutes after they did. When we entered, Leader was walking casually along the buffet table, with a plate in hand, surveying the food at the table. Seemed like nobody at the restaurant knew him, or maybe they were just mesmerized by him. Kekeke. I particularly saw a waitress staring and ogling at him like he was an angel who went down from heaven. Hahaha! I actually didn't know what I was doing, it felt like I was walking at the edge of a cliff, imagine my dream guy was just a few steps away from me, thank God I was still able to control myself. I wanted to scream and go hug him but of course, it's not possible. Hahaha.

So I just took a plate, acted like I didn't have a huge turmoil going on inside me, and just went to take some food from the buffet table. Hyun Joong was getting close and I was like screaming inside my head "Leader come nearer!!!" Until finally he was walking along at my side, I even brushed a little bit of his shirt. I concentrated on which food to put on my plate, but all I could think of was Leader walking by my side. He stopped at the sushi section. I visited the crabs and salad section. Then all of a sudden he's right beside me! Just a few inches away from me! Aaaaah!!! I could smell his scent. He smells wonderful! I couldn't stop myself, I sneaked a look at him while he was busy getting food by my side. I couldn't pass up the chance to look at him that close! He is soooo gorgeous!!! His skin was so smooth, perfectly flawless, his nose, his lips... Aaaaah!!! He was so focused on getting his food, I guess he entered his 4D world again, he's completely oblivious of what's happening around him, just a passive face, a blank expression, and a hungry stomach. Hahaha. His plate was full, but I wasn't able to see what food he got coz I was so starstruck. I couldn't think clearly. He kept walking along the buffet table and we kept meeting each other at different points.

Oh my God, I never imagined I would be walking the same path as Leader, breathing the waft of his smell when he passed real closely and actually be at his side!!! It's like I was dreaming. We went to sit down at our table. They got a private room where all the dancers and Leader ate. We couldn't see him inside so we just ate our lunch quietly, talking about how handsome Leader is up close. I tried to process in my mind what just happened, but it still hasn't sunk in. After a few minutes, the private room door opened, and Leader appeared. He went and talked to a Korean (who we assumed was one of his managers), and then he passed by our table with 2 of his dancers. We heard him say "De", which means yes, to his manager, then went out of the restaurant. My eyes never left him, I looked at him and kept looking at his retreating back until he was out of the restaurant. My heart was still pumping hard, I couldn't concentrate on my food. I can't believe that my 2nd encounter with Leader that day was that close and that memorable!

3rd Encounter - After we finished our food, we checked in at the reception, and went straight to our room. We rested for a few minutes, then another friend of mine arrived, so the 3 of us decided to explore the hotel. It was our first time staying there so we wanted to see the whole hotel. We went to see the swimming pool first, then the spa and the gym. We inquired whether swimming in the pool was free, then went to the gym and spa to ask for a brochure of their services. After that, we went to the elevators planning to go back to our room. We were just standing there waiting for the elevator to open, when all of a sudden, someone dressed in black appeared around the corner. It was Leader!!! He was dressed in a black loose sleeveless shirt, shorts and sneakers. He had 2 bodyguards with him. The corridor in front of the elevator going to the gym was really narrow. So we were just standing there, dumbfounded, and simply looked at Leader passing us by again. I could just imagine our expressions, it was as if we were rooted at our very spots. If you could see us, you would probably laugh at our expressions. Hyun Joong looked at us and just continued walking, he was very shy, he covered a little bit of his face with his hand. We looked at him entering the gym. He has really thin legs! He went inside and we saw him inspecting some of the gym equipment. Our eyes met again for a few seconds! I almost died. Aaaaaah!!! That whole encounter probably lasted for a minute or so, but for us it was like time stood still. When the elevator door finally opened, we just found ourselves going inside with mute expressions. Another accidental encounter with Leader! So far, I've had 3 close encounters already! I can't believe our luck. It was as if God was smiling upon us.

4th Encounter - After we left the gym corridor, we went to the swimming pool. That was around 3-4 in the afternoon, I guess. We ordered some french fries and iced tea and lounged at the pool side. We actually wanted to swim, but we didn't bring any swim suit. So we just rested there and talked more about how handsome and cool Hyun Joong is. After a little while, 3 of Leader's dancers arrived at the pool to take a swim. They changed into board shorts and took their tops off! Damn! I gotta say, these dancers are lookin' fine! It was refreshing seeing them splash around the pool. There were no people around, just me and my friend, the pool attendant, and the 3 dancers. Then after a few, Cody noona came and talked to the dancers. Then she left. After a few more minutes, Hyun Joong arrived! I guess he just finished working out. He was about to pass the swimming pool area! He was flanked by a couple of bodyguards. They paused a while at the dancers in the pool, then continued walking. Towards us!!! My heart was beating the extra mile again, and when I looked at Leader, he was sticking his tongue out, in that seductive, sexy way of his. His hair was a bit wet, probably from perspiration after working out. Remember the way he looked in Gummy's MV "As A Man", when he was in the swimming pool? That's how he looked at that moment. I thought they were going to sit at the table next to ours, but they didn't. He looked in our direction, and our eyes locked again for a couple of seconds. God, my head was pounding.

We're so happy just being able to see him up close. Looking back at it now, it would have been the perfect opportunity to ask for his autograph since there were no people around, just me and my friend. But too bad we didn't think of it then, we were so awed and overwhelmed with the series of encounters that we didn't expect. When he was a few inches away from us, he was wetting his lips with his tongue. Aaaaaah!!! I was kinda shy coz I felt like I was really staring at him, and he was sooo near. They just passed by our table, I guess he was going back to his hotel room. I thought he was going to come back and swim with his dancers, so we decided to stick around. Who wouldn't want to see him half-naked and swimming right? But unfortunately, he didn't come back. The 3 dancers who were swimming, got off the pool, showered at the area just near our table (HOT!) and also went back to their rooms. We were again left feeling breathless, even though we were just sitting there.

4th Encounter - When it was starting to get dark, we decided to go back to our rooms. At around early evening, maybe around 6 or 7-ish, we went down to the lobby. I even saw Liezle there with her International friends. We saw that there were security people in the front hall. We thought that BEAST was arriving, since they were also staying in the same hotel. I haven't seen them yet since we arrived. Anyway, after a little while, we saw Leader! He was dressed in a dark-grey shirt with a brown khaki vest, and black pants. His hair was casual, fresh from the shower I guess. Again he was walking a bit fast. Maybe he's used to this speed. Our eyes followed him as he went into the car. He motioned for 2 of his dancers to come in with him. We heard they were going to go to some Korean restaurant to eat dinner and watch soccer at the same time. Ahhh, Leader and his love for soccer. I stayed in the lobby because I needed to access the Internet. It's not free, mind you. I had to pay a whopping P300 per hour for the wifi!

5th Encounter - When it was nearing 9 o'clock, we saw police security on motorcycles and we saw Leader's white BENZ arriving at the hotel. My friend took a video of him entering the hotel. The bodyguards were scolding people for taking videos, they're really strict! We managed to get a few seconds of video.

After seeing Leader go back to his floor, we felt our stomachs grumbling and realized we haven't eaten dinner yet. So we decided to walk to Mini-Stop just a few blocks from the hotel, and bought some dinner to go. I bought chicken and rice and we went back up to our hotel room. We were tired, but it was a great end to a wonderful day. And to think that Leader's floor was just above ours. We imagined him joking around with his dancers or maybe lounging in his bed... aaaaah, Leader. You make us feel like giddy teenagers everytime. After dinner, we watched some TV and finally went to sleep, hoping that tomorrow, we'll get even more lucky.

June 18, 2010

6th Encounter - The next day, we woke up, showered, then went to the hotel restaurant to eat breakfast. I personally didn't think Hyun Joong will eat there again, apart from that lunch during the 1st day. I guess they brought food in his room instead. But the dancers were there! We were even ushered by the waitress to a table next to them! The dancers were really cute in person. In their MVs they don't look as good as they look in person. We even wondered whether it's them. But when we watched 'Love Ya' MV again last night, it was really the same set of dancers. I guess they just look better and way more good looking in person. After breakfast, we went to the lobby again to chill. There were a few people there, some International TS as well as Koreans from KHJ's fanclub PERFECT. I guess they were all waiting for Leader because we heard he had a schedule to appear in Eat Bulaga. We were actually planning to go to the mall, but since we knew we were about to see Leader, we decided to stay a bit longer. Then he was there! Dressed in a crisp khaki suit with Cody noona, 4 bodyguards and another girl. When he went round the corner from the elevators, he glanced at our direction. I was wondering whether our faces looked familiar to him since we've already had a few encounters with him. My friend was able to take a short video of Leader leaving the hotel for Eat Bulaga.

7th Encounter - After Leader left, we went to the mall. We grabbed some coffee at Coffee Bean and we did a little bit of SS501 spazzing since we really miss the boys. We watched Eat Bulaga via live streaming in my friend's laptop. When Leader said Tagalog words like "Kumusta Po Kayo" and "Maraming Salamat Po", we were so happy! Leader is really making us Filipinos proud! I guess after Eat Bulaga, he also graced other interviews. Our fanmeet with him is scheduled for 8pm that night, and we were excited to see him in an intimate setting. An hour or so passed and I got a text message from another friend, saying they saw Hyun Joong back in the hotel! We thought he was going to be in Araneta for rehearsals, but apparently not. I went back to the hotel alone to be with friends in our room. We decided to visit the pool area again because some of our friends who just arrived haven't seen the pool yet. We didn't stay there long though, just a quick peek. While we were waiting for the elevator to go back up to our room, one of the elevators opened and we saw two huge bodyguards inside. They were quite surprised that it opened on the 5th floor. We went inside the elevator with the guards and found that they were going to the 4th floor. Our instincts were to follow them. We saw that there were a few Triple S there. I saw a Singaporean friend of mine also waiting there, so we got talking and I found out that there was a press conference to be held there in one of the function rooms. We got excited as this meant we're going to see Leader again! We saw Gelli De Belen, a Filipina actress, going towards the venue. She was going to interview both Leader and Beast. I even said Hi to her and she said hello back. The elevators then opened and out came BEAST. That was the first time I saw them up close. Even though I don't know any of them, I just waved and said HI. Some of them waved back! They're quite nice actually. Then after a little while, the elevators opened again and Leader came out! A little girl ran up to him to give him a letter and Hyun Joong stopped and smiled and even bended over the little girl to pinch her cheek lightly and accept her letter. He's such a sweetie, isn't he? Then he went on to the function room. My Singaporean friend managed to get a video of that moment. See here.

8th Encounter - We stayed where we were, because we didn't have anywhere else to go. Some of the Triple S that were there earlier already left, so it was just me and my friends. I talked more with my Singaporean friend. She was really sweet. She said she's there for BEAST, not Kim Hyun Joong. But she also agrees that Leader is very handsome. Who wouldn't agree, right? After a few minutes, BEAST was back in the hallway, apparently finished with their interview. We waved and said Hi again to them, and they smiled and waved back. This means, Leader was about to pass by again too. We talked amongst ourselves and said that maybe it's about time we said Hi to Hyun Joong. We haven't said anything to him since he arrived. He might think Filipinos cannot talk! Hahaha. So when he appeared around the corner, at the count of hana, deul, set... we said "Hi Leader!" in unison. He looked at us, smiled, and even raised up his two hands to wave at us. Aaaaaaah, pure bliss! His smile is just sooo amazing!

9th Encounter - Afterward, we went back to our hotel room. Some of my friends stayed in the hallway. I just came up to change, since we had a fanmeet to attend to at 8pm. After changing, I went back to the 4th floor alone. When I got out of the 1st elevator, I started walking to where my friends were waiting. But suddenly, the 3rd elevator opened while I was directly in front of it. I looked, and guess who I saw? Leader!!! Ahhh! I was directly in front of him, I was at a loss, I didn't know what to do. Our eyes met again for a split second. I just kept walking along. I had my Special Destination CD in my hand, and it would have been another great opportunity to make him sign it, since we were the only ones there. But I wasn't able to think straight. Damn! Besides, I didn't have a marker with me. Tsk, tsk. Anyway as I walked over to my friends, Leader and his guards were walking behind me! I don't know if he saw the CD I was holding. Hopefully he did! He was walking towards FAB restaurant, sat on the table and waited. A few minutes after, all of the dancers joined him. Leader actually turned to look at us again, and we felt sooo happy. That was probably around 6pm. We left them in peace as they were about to eat, and we went to the function hall to line up to register for the Meet & Greet.

10th Encounter (Meet & Greet) - The Meet & Greet was the highlight of all. We lined up to register at around 6 pm at the function hall. We had to turn off our cellphones, take off the batteries, and leave digital cameras in a bin. The security was very strict. We were given random table numbers and I got Table # 3.

There was a little stage with 2 chairs, one for Laura, the interpreter, and of course, one for Leader. There was a buffet table at one side of the room. At around 7:40pm we were instructed to get food from the buffet, per table. We were the first table to get food. We only had around 20min to eat dinner, because Hyun Joong had a very tight schedule, and he was to arrive at exactly 8pm in the room. So we ate hurriedly. After eating, and while the waiters cleared the tables, we practiced our birthday song for Leader. After that, the TSPH staff raffled 12 names to receive autographed CD's from Leader. He was to personally hand them out on stage. I was praying that my name will be called, but unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky. Then, 8pm came. The door opened, and in came Leader. We all stood up and clapped our hands. He walked towards the stage, he even did a little clap before reaching the stage. He was looking gorgeous as usual. He had the same clothes on from the presscon earlier. We were all mesmerized, all eyes were on Leader. Those who saw him for the 1st since he came to Manila, were in awe. Those of us who already saw him several times, were still in awe. That's the thing with Hyun Joong. No matter how many times you see him, you still get mesmerized every time. That's how magnetic our Leader is. He sat on the chair, Laura introduced him, and proceeded with the questions.

First question was, "What funny and unforgettable experiences do you have with your group SS501?" Leader said that the most unforgettable was the 1st Asian Persona Tour. Next question, "Do you have a girlfriend, right now?" He answered in Korean, then the interpreter translated, "Whether you believe me or not, I don't have a girlfriend now." I don't remember whether we clapped. I was just focused on Leader and I probably had a big smile posted on my face for the whole event. Supposedly, only 2 questions were to be asked. But Leader whispered to Laura that we can ask more. So Laura asked again, but I can't remember the question! Then Leader said he will answer another one. Aaah, Leader must be having a great time and enjoying this question and answer portion! Laura said he will take a question from a fan. Some fans from table #5 raised their hands, and Leader pointed to one. The fan's question was, "Will you be willing to act in a Filipino drama? And when will you bring your group, SS501 to the Philippines?" Leader's answer to the first question was, "I want to, but right now, I want to concentrate first in Korea before venturing out to other countries." Leader is sooo humble. He is already a superstar but he still thinks of himself as someone who needs to put out more effort. As for the 2nd question, he said that he feels sorry that Philippines was not included in the 1st Asian Tour. But he promised that on their next tour, they would include the Philippines. Yey! Thank you Leader!

At this point, one of the Korean managers whispered to Laura that it will be the last question of the night. I guess that if allowed, Leader would have answered more questions that night. Kekeke. Anyway, after the question & answer portion, it was time for the handing out of autographed CDs. Those 12 lucky fans picked in the raffle lined up to get their CDs. Each name was called, at first Leader called out the names, but since it must be hard for him to pronounce some of the names, Jehd, one of the TSPH staff, called them out instead. Those 12 are lucky because they get to shake Leader's hand! Jehd called them out one by one, until it's down to the last one. The last CD was for Jehd. So she said, "And the last one, is Me." Leader's reaction was so cute. He took the last CD, and instead of giving it to Jehd, he motioned as if giving it to someone else. Hahaha. Then he smiled a mischievous smile and finally gave the CD to Jehd. Aaaah, I wish I could have captured that on camera. It was sooo cute!

After the CD distribution, it was time to sing Leader Happy Birthday. Two large cakes were wheeled out, one was for Leader's birthday, the other one was to commemorate SS501's 5th anniversary. When his birthday cake was brought out, he had this cute, curious expression. He inspected the cake like he didn't understand what it meant. Then Laura whispered something to him, and he nodded as if understanding finally, and said "Aaah". Hahaha! Oh Leader, you're really 4D. Then we sang Saeng Il Chuka Hamnida. Then when Leader was supposed to blow the candles, he asked us to count 1, 2, 3... Cute! So on our count of 3, he blew the candles. Clap, clap, clap. He said "Thank You" a lot of times.

The cakes were taken out of the room, and it was time for TSPH to give Leader his birthday gift. It was a TISSOT watch! When Julie, one of the TSPH staff, gave Leader his gift, we all asked him to open it. He placed it on the table, and opened it carelessly with one hand. And we were all like, "Whooah!" Everyone probably had a thought bubble saying "Leader careful, don't slam it, it's breakable!" LOL. He might have heard our gasps, so he opened the gift carefully with two hands. Kekeke. He opened the box, and his eyes widened when he saw that it was a Tissot watch. Then he said on his mic, "Philippine TS, Rich." Hahaha! He said thank you again. I do hope that he likes his gift. We were told that if we wanted to send in our gifts, we can do so and he brought everything to his room. Awwww, so sweet.
After the opening of the gift, it was time for the photo op. We were briefed before the event started that we were to be divided into 3 groups, and Hyun Joong was to go to each group to get our picture taken. How sweet of him! First he went to the 1st group first on the right side of the room, CLICK! Then on to 2nd group, on the center of the stage, CLICK! Then finally to our group, on the left side, near the door, CLICK! When he went to our group, he was inches away from me again and as usual, I was dumbstruck. Haha. I saw him smile and then we posed for the camera. CLICK! Then I had a little moment again with him. Our eyes met, and he gave me a little nod. I smiled, nodded back, and said Thank you! Aaaaah! Leader!!! He is absolutely gorgeous and fantastic! Then after our group, he went to take a picture with the TSPH staff. After the last camera click, he waved to us all, said Bye! and went out of the room. We all waved back at him. The moment the door closed, we all screamed at the top of our lungs. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! The door opened again in the midst of our shouting because a waiter came in, so for sure, Leader heard our screams. I talked to some of my friends later who were waiting outside, and they said that Leader did indeed hear our screams, and in fact, they saw him smile when he heard. Awwwww. According to Laura, he was very happy. I really hope he had a great time with us, even though it was only a few minutes we were together. A few TS cried tears of joy that night. It was overwhelming.

11th Encounter (Concert) - The following day, we were still on cloud 9 after that intimate night with Leader. We went to the mall, surfed the Net, and then went back to our rooms. We watched Leader's Startalk interview with Gelli De Belen on TV. We spazzed about SS501 in our room while we waited until it was time to go to Araneta, the concert venue. At around 5pm, it rained. Well, we expected that because the Leader of SS501 was about to have a concert! And SS501 is known to be the idols who call rain, right? That day was no exception. We had a hard time hailing a cab. When we arrived at Araneta, there were already long queues outside. We spotted the VIP line and we entered the venue, with our green shirts, green lightsticks, banners, and other paraphernalia's. We were there to give Leader our all-out support! The VIP area was almost full. What with only 2 weeks of promotion, I think the concert did well. It would have had more attendees if there was more time for promotion. Anyway, it didn't matter much, because with all the loud screaming of the fans, it was enough to heat up the venue and shake up the whole Araneta. LOL. I was kinda disappointed though, because while the venue was filling up, no music was played. My friend asked if they could play SS501's Love Ya, since SS501 is Hyun Jong's group, but unfortunately, they said no. It would have been nice if they at least played a song by Hyun Joong. They played Beast's MV several times, but no Hyun Joong. :(

So anyway, we just hyped ourselves up for the concert. We even met some of the people from Kim Hyun Joong fanclub, PERFECT. We were sitting in front of them, and we said Hi. They even gave us gifts. So sweet and nice of them!

Opening the show was Pop Girls. They performed 3 songs. Then it was BEAST's turn. I actually didn't care at first about this group. But after seeing them perform, I actually liked them! For a new group, they can definitely deliver! Of the 6 of them, Doo Joon (Leader) and Gi Kwang caught my eye. They sang a total of 6 songs. Then next was another Filipino boy act, XLR8. Actually, this was the first time I ever saw these groups. Oh well, the most important of all was the next number. Finally, it was Hyun Joong's turn. The whole Araneta went wild, all were chanting, "Kim Hyun Joong! Kim Hyun Joong!" Then Leader appeared from under the stage (I think he personally choreographed his entrance, kekeke), the way SS501 always appear in their concerts. Under-the-stage lifts are dramatic! He was dressed in pure white. Just like an angel descended from heaven. We were all screaming our lungs out and wildly waving our green lightsticks. He sang first "Happiness Is" from Boys Over Flowers soundtrack. Then he sang "Gomapda (Thank You)".

After which, the host interviewed him. There were a lot of questions asked, we can barely hear because the crowd was so loud! Then Gelli De Belen and another Filipina actress, Candy Pangilinan, brought a cake for him onstage. The host was trying to make us all sing "Happy Birthday To You" in English, but we were singing "Saeng Il Chuka Hamnida" instead. LOL. It was chaotic. I wonder if Leader made any sense of it. It really warmed our hearts when he said "Pinasasaya nyo ako." Which means, "You make me happy." Awwww, Leader is so sweet, saying this in Tagalog. See video below.

Then after he blew his candles on his cake, he proceeded to his next performance. Of course, we knew beforehand that he was gonna sing "Please Be Nice To Me" since he brought dancers with him. We hoped there would be a JitJoong, but seeing his outfit, we knew it was out of the question. When the first notes of PBNTM played, the whole stadium burst into screams. For us Triple S, we've seen this performance countless of times. But we never get tired of it. We feel proud that those in the audience who haven't seen it yet were able to see it, and hopefully, they loved it. Even Candy and Gelli were looking at Leader with apt attention and with the expressions of certified fangirls evident on their faces. Hahaha! Hyun Joong danced his best yet again, although I wish he danced at the bottom stage, and not at the upper part. But we were all cheering like there was no tomorrow. It was another great performance from our Leader.

He exited the stage the same way he entered, this time with his back to the audience. We chanted his name again. We were deafening! We hoped there would be an encore, but at that point, a little girl came up the stage and a VTR for the Abierta foundation appeared in the screen. Then "Heal The World" started playing. All the artists went back onstage as well as a bunch of little children. Leader was so sweet. As he joined the children, he pinched this little boy on the cheek (he really likes children!). Then he called his dancers to join him on stage. We were surprised that Leader had a solo part in Heal The World. I couldn't hear him clearly though coz of the screams from the audience. Wow, Leader singing English? Maybe Saengie taught him some lines, huh? Kekeke. Then there were confetti's thrown until the whole stage was full of them. The dancers are so cute too, playing with the confetti's and mimicking the children's choreography. My eyes were focused on Leader the whole time though. He was smiling and clapping and swaying to the tune and he looked really happy. He even held the mic to a little boy at some point, and kept placing his hand on the boy's shoulder. It was a sight to behold. See pics and vid below.

When the song ended, the crowd started chanting "Kim Hyun Joong! Kim Hyun Joong!" again. We just chanted his name like that for a long time. And he said "Philippines, see you next time." We screamed more upon hearing that. Then back to chanting his name. Hahaha. Until Leader finally said Bye Bye and left the stage. It was a wonderful night for us. Seeing Leader happy and performing, and hearing him say Tagalog words were the highlights of our night. I really hope that after this concert, more and more Filipinos would love him and find out more about his group SS501.

After the concert, we hurried back to the hotel, hoping to catch a glimpse of Leader arriving, but unfortunately, he beat us to the punch. When we arrived, he was already up in his room. We saw the Korean managers bringing some food and drinks, I guess they were having a party to celebrate the concert. We went back to our room, tired but happy.

12th Encounter - In the morning, we heard Leader was leaving around noon. Since we were checking out of the hotel at noon also, we were hoping to catch one last glimpse of Leader before he left. My friends went to the lobby. As for me, I grabbed some breakfast first then went back to our room to get my things. When I was waiting for the lift, the elevator opened and gosh, all of the BEAST members were crammed in the elevator with their bodyguards. I was shocked. Of course, I couldn't possibly fit in, so I just waited for another elevator. Nice timing, huh? What if that was Leader in the elevator? I would have squeezed myself in with him no matter what. LOL. Just kidding. When I went down to the lobby, there were a lot of fans there already waiting. We checked out, and just then, Leader appeared. He looked fresh! He had a little ponytail at the upper part of his head. We said, Bye Leader! And he waved at us and smiled. We saw boxes loaded in their car, and we saw our gifts! So they're really taking all the gifts back to Korea. We were able to get a few seconds of video of this 12th and last encounter with Kim Hyun Joong.

Let me share with you the goodies I got in the whole duration of my stay in Manila. These were from my Triple S friends, PERFECT, as well as give-aways and souvenirs from the Meet&Greet, and from the concert itself.

I felt a bit sad that he was leaving. I didn't want that whole experience to end. It was like a dream. So surreal, yet I could feel the impact of it etched in my heart and soul. At the same time, I was also happy, because we got to be with Leader even for a short time. We got to see him up close, we were able to see his beautiful smile in person. We were able to witness his kind heart. It was his own decision to participate in the charity concert, and he even donated 1M pesos to Abierta House of Friendship because he wanted to help. And as an added bonus, he granted us, Triple S Philippines, the Meet & Greet! We really can't thank him enough! I love Leader so much, and this whole experience just made me love him EVEN MORE! Some people, those who don't know him that well, may mistake him as cold, unfriendly, and distant. Maybe because of his passive expression sometimes and he's not as showy in public places like Jung Min and Baby. But if these people only knew the real Kim Hyun Joong. The one with the heart of gold, who is not only loving and caring to his fans, but to everyone. Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. Hyun Joong is indeed an inspiration. And he doesn't need other people to know, he just wants to help. That makes it even more admirable.

Sorry for the super long fan account, guys. My short stay in Manila was so worthwhile. Not only did I get to have these moments with Leader but I also was able to bond with my Triple S sisters. This whole experience won't be complete without them to share it with. SS501 brought us all together, and I hope that this is not the last time we're going to see each other. Hopefully, soon, we will see each other again, not only to see SS501's Leader, but the whole SS501 group. To my Triple S sisters, see you again soon! To Leader, thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart! You made me and a lot of people happy by coming to the Philippines. Thank You! Other than attending the fan meeting on 18th June and the charity concert on 19th June, there was actually yet another important item on Kim Hyun Joong's schedule in Manila, Philippines trip from 17th to 20th June, that is to receive the appreciation plaque from Abiertas House of Friendship - the charity organization that is the beneficiary of the concert- and also to visit the children from this organization/school. The organization had prepared it in thanks of his personal contribution of 1,000,000 pesos (approx Chinese yuan 150,000 or USD 22,000).

Kim Hyun Joong has already visited the actual site of Abiertas House of Friendship earlier this year. After seeing the condition of the school and the state that the children were in, he immediately decided to make a personal contribution of 1,000,000 pesos and this amount was transferred sometime in mid May.

The organization had immediately utilized his donation towards building the property for their senior high/college students. In addition, the organization will also name the said property after Kim Hyun Joong.

Further, Kim Hyun Joong had also agreed to participate in the charity concert held on 19th June, in the hope that his influence could raise more awareness and garner more support and help for these less privileged groups in the society, the helpless mothers and children.

As for the actual situation at this school and also of the organization's deep love and appreciation towards Kim Hyun Joong, and also as to what activities Kim Hyun Joong had carried out in the school on that day of visit, I will be giving detailed description in my trip account later, so everyone, please do watch for it.

Some additional footnotes as follows:

The "Araneta Coliseum" that you see on the plaque is the name of the stadium where the charity concert was held. The original plan was to present this to Kim Hyun Joong at the stadium during the concert. But Kim Hyun Joong had declined the deed; he simply wanted to do something for them and didn't want anything else. So the organization just presented him with their token of appreciation in the tiny conference room on their premises~~~~~

TvN's new music programme 'Newton' 's corner 'X-Concert' had its 2nd guest SS501 to hold a mini-concert on the previous 13th June at Yongdeungpo's Time Square, along with 501 fans. It was initially decided as a video appreciation showing SS501's activities all these while to 501 fans, right after the 20 minutes long of video coverage ended, SS501 who was the special present decided for this event appeared on stage which totally surprised all 501 fans present. As soon as they appeared, they earned the claps and eager responses from all fans present because it was just too unexpected. After their appearance, the event began with 'Everything' and lasted throughout with 8 songs sung across the times spent with fans.

During the event, SS501 who couldn't control much of their emotions kept having their tears flowing ceaselessly, "Recently there are many pressurizing matters in the group... Despite so, for the fact that fans still show so much passionate love to us, we feel really very thankful. Because we were focused on overseas activities, we weren't able to spend alot of time in Korea, we truly always felt sorry about that...", which could probably explain the reason why they were so emotional on the day where SS501 and fans spent such precious moments together with the tears flowed...

After the 2-hour concert ended, SS501 expressed that they were very thankful to have held precious moments with fans through 'Newton', those moments were really heart-warming, and never will they forget in this lifetime....

Japan's KJ-net has announced that Kim Hyun Joong will be releasing his own ever photobook consisting of his oozing charm "Kim Hyun Joong's 1st Premium DVD & Photobook -- The First Love Story" whose release date has been set at October 29.

Through this photobook, with Kim Hyun Joong's First Love Story as the theme, Hyun Joong's charisma will be presented before your eyes in the DVD like the form of a movie, where in the DVD, you would also get to see his maturing stages through the years and interesting stories during his debut period that was never disclosed; in addition, an honest interview with him would also be inclusive.

This is the 2nd day that leader is here in our city. The place where he is staying is nice and cozy. It is very private; this is probably why he chose to stay here for a number of days. Since his arrival only very few have seen him as he has just stayed in his room.

Leader arrived around 4 pm yesterday. It was very hush-hush. The car brought him directly to the back of the resort where there is a single big unit. It’s a stand alone building and not attached to the main building. It is still right beside the main complex. It is one storey, with 3 bedrooms. Only his companions went to the lobby to facilitate the checking in.

He did not go out at all yesterday. He stayed in his Villa the whole time.

Today, at around 11:00 am, he left to go to a spa in another building or place. This was not very clear. The resort is equipped with spa facilities and services. But the impression I got was that he went somewhere else for a spa service.

His friends or companions have friends who came to check in at the resort also because they were fans of Kim Hyun Joong.

Gorgeous, handsome and really, really nice complexion- these are some of words that comes to mind when I saw him today, June 20, 2010. I have never been a fan of any celebrity, NEVER. Not until Kim Hyun Joong came around.

I went to the airport to catch a glimpse of leader arriving from Manila. There were a lot of rumors and talk that he was coming here to our city. I was a depressed as I decided not to attend the fan meeting and watch the Beast concert in Manila because I had no one to go with. Then people started stating that he was coming to our city, this lifted me up a bit. There is still a chance I can see him in person again. The first time I saw him was in PERSONA concert in Hongkong, Dec. 2009.

I went to the airport at around 9:30 am. I managed to get inside the arrival section. Every time a plane from Manila lands, I become excited and anticipate seeing him. The last flight in the morning was at 12:10 noon and still there was no sign of Kim Hyun Joong. The next flight from Manila was at 2:50 pm. I had lunch at a resort close to the airport. This was also to check if he might be staying in that resort. It is a Korean place and I was thinking it is the most likely place he will stay in. There were no signs of him there and I could not ask anyone also.

I was getting tired and was ready to give up but my companion was willing to go back to the airport. So we rushed back to the airport as a new friend was there and she texed that the plane from Manila just landed. My new friend also went to the airport to catch a glimpse of leader.

I got back in time to see the passengers come out and claim their baggage. But still no sign of leader. Another plane arrived at around 3:10 pm and more passengers came out. As the passengers thinned out, a slight commotion in the arrival door started. I saw him then. He was with two Korean guys and two Korean bodyguards. Kim Hyun Joong was wearing all black; black pants, black shirt and a black vest. His bodyguards were also wearing all black. There was no sign of the manager. I started filming him as I went closer. I had to stop filming as one of the bodyguards came forward and told me no pictures. I was able to get as close as 1 inch from him. Leader looked at me and the camera as I was filming. They then exited the airport and started to walk away from the exit doors. I stood there mesmerized and just looked at them. They stopped around 30 meters away from the exit door to wait for their car.

I contemplated whether I should go after them or just leave. I was thinking that it should be enough that I saw him and got pictures and a video. In the end, I decided to go after them. I took pictures as I got closer to them. The bodyguards were really strict and stern, especially one of them. He kept telling me no pictures. I asked him if he could ask leader to sign me an autograph. The bodyguard just outright replied “NO!”. I even said to the bodyguard, “Jibal?” I tried again louder, hoping Kim Hyun Joong could hear me and understand. He did, he looked at me and motioned with his hands to give him the CD. I immediately grabbed my Rebirth cd and a marker that I have prepared for this opportunity. He took the cd and marker and proceeded to sign. When he finished, he turned to face me, he was like two inches away from me. He returned the cd, smiled shyly and slightly bowed as he was handing it to me. As he handed the pen back, it fell and he gave an apologetic bow. The bodyguard rushed to pick it up for him. I thanked him and he nodded.

They stood there for a few more minutes because the car has not arrived yet. He looked really young with his hairstyle, a small ponytail on the top part of his hair. He had his shades on most of the time. He, however, took it off when he took my cd to sign it.

His two companions looked like close friends and he looked really relax and comfortable with them. He even did a dance move as he was standing there waiting for the car. He looked relax and not rigid and stiff like how he was with some of the interviews in Manila. He looked so boyish and playful. I am reminded of how he looked and acted when he did the TV show ‘We Got Married’. There were some scenes in that show where he had this kind of hairstyle and was this playful.

Finally the car came. A Korean female was there to facilitate and get him into the car. He was asked to get inside the car and the car parked in the designated area. The other two companions stayed outside, as well as the bodyguards. The car remained parked for 2 minutes or so. It seemed, they were waiting for someone or something. After awhile, everyone got inside the white car and they left.

I am still giddy from the thought that I got to see Kim Hyun Joong up close and even had him sign my cd. He is really nice and accommodating to his fans. Even when the bodyguards kept saying no, he still accommodated my request.

There was not much crowd when he arrived and most of the people there hardly recognized him. That could have contributed to his relaxed demeanor. People did stare and a few people did hover near him when he was waiting for the car. I overheard one lady say, that’s Jihoo.

This will be one afternoon that I will never forget.

Ahhh gosh,I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooo darn tired these days.. No rest seems enough for me. (T.T)

Once again, we are coming to the end of another month.. How has everyone been living..? Tired like me? Hahaha. I know everyone is concerned about the boys' future activities after the expired contract. Until the next contract or renewal, our boys have absolute freedom in making decisions for their own lives. That explains why DSP cannot accept offers or invitations on their behalf. I don't see the reason to get so worked up over certain comments. The boys already mentioned that they will wait for DSP President to recover first before going into further discussion on the contract details. But sometimes, things do get a little complicated. You know how news can get really twisted, exaggerated, blurred, etc in midst of translations and word-of-mouth, especially those who like to add flavors to spice things up. All in all, our boys know what they are doing and they are matured enough to think for themselves. So please trust them, k? At the end of the day, I will choose to believe what the boys had promised, that is they will return and stay forever as one. Even if that day never come, they are still the brightest stars we adore and those memories weaved together cannot be erased. The love that we accumulated bits by bits with our tears and laughters are so precious that no one else can replace.

And yes, soon it will be... what?? You will know soon.. just wait a little while more, k? (^.-) I'm signing off soon (eh hope so? haha), wanna rest early. Ahnyoung..

Hyun Joong Leader gave a call to Ding Hai Ming, AST1 member who acted together with him in BOF during the dumpling festival (Jun 16, 2010). He was very touched and posted it in his microblog (weibo, mandarin version of Twitter).

[Fan Account] 06.18.10 Unexpected Luck... Leader Overload Part 2

I could have been at the fan meet last night but I decided not to go anymore. But I wonder if I had been there what Kim Hyun Joong would think if he sees me there again after you read part 2 of my Unexpected Luck... Leader Overdose story . ^_^

Alright here it goes...

You know what? I guess dressing up a bit and being so casual in the things that are happening around you sometimes would give you an edge. ^^

After Eat Bulaga, C and I then went straight to the hotel where Leader is staying. After parking we went straight to the function room where GMA programs interview is to happen. As we were walking the hallway, I could already see all those hulking local bodyguards of Leader, his managers but not the Korean bodyguards.

As we were walking pass them, I can hear them discussing who's the only people supposed to enter the function room. I could hear ID and blah blah blah. I wasn't worried actually because I've an invite. Also, some of the local guards have already seen me at the backstage and just gave me a smile when we walk. Also the Koreans didn't mind us at all. Probably because they've seen us in EB earlier.

As we place ourselves inside the media waiting area we could hear the dos and don'ts, the sequence of interview, who could only be inside the room and who are the inteviewer of Leader and Beast. Hearing the latter worried me a bit. Because the person who invited us was told to interview Beast and not Leader! Oh geez...

Then, Grace Lee came. She's a Korea who speaks very well English and Tagalog. She's a TV host, dj and newscaster. I like her and even like her a lot when she was introduced to me and talked to me. Really a very nice person.

When she arrived at the holding area, she still doesn't know who she will be interviewing first. C and I were very hopeful that she's the one who's going to interview Leader. But when the person in-charge came out and gave assingments she was given Beast to interview. Having heard that I was about to tell C that I think it's better that we give up.

Then Gelli de Belen [actress and host] came and hope rises again. ^_^ Before she arrived we actually already know that she's going to interview Leader for 2 shows. One is for StarTalk and the other one is Showbiz Central. Heard that she likes Leader so much [she's married with kids]. So there's hope because C was able to talk to her.

While waiting for the interviews to start Grace Lee, C and I were seated together. We had short convo about Leader, how strict the Korean managers are, how the Korean were amazed to learn that she's not a Filipina learning Korean but the other way around because of her fluency in Tagalog and English. Told here that I've been to Seoul 5 times and she asked me what I like about Seoul. Then afterwhich I asked her if we could take photo together and she obliged. Really nice lady.

She said that she wishes to interview Leader because she had already interviewed Beast yesterday. But luck seems to be not on her side. She was then called to start her interview with Beast. But before here interview started, she was asked to give way to Tim Yap first [TV host and report] because he already arrived. So she obliged. She then went back to media waiting area.

A few minutes after she came back, the manager of Leader approached her and asked her to interview Leader! The Korean's must really like her! They talked quite long which I wish I know the reason why. But I guess he's briefing her on what to ask. A few minutes later she was then asked to go to the next room to interview Leader. And you know what she did? She then said to C and I to follow her and A [another reporter]. Wow as in wow! Unexpected turn of event because we are already losing hope that we'll get to see Leader again. As we follow her and A guards just stared at us and smiled. We then entered the room where in Leader just finished being interviewed by Tim Yap.

Leader is on an elevated stage set up. He look soooo handsome and cool. When we entered he immidately saw us. He didn't smile but look at each one of us. Hee, another locked eyes moment for me. ^_^

The room has a theater set up so as Grace and A went near Leader C and I made ourselves comfortable by sitting in front of Leader. ^^ Geez, he's so handsome. Honestly, I forgot what color his wearing if it's a brown vest and black shirt or the other way around because I keep staring on his face. But what I'm sure of is that he's wearing boots.

As he was being prepared for the interview, Leader is seated on his chair. From time to time he would look our way. And I said 'time to time' because really it's several times! Now C already knows how I felt when Leader did passing look at me. ^_^

Ahhh, it's so surreal. In a small room with Leader and only few people and not having a fright whether to be shooed or not. Woot! Woot!

If only personal camera is allowed I would have taken some very very good shot of Leader. But of course that cannot happen.

Grace interview then started. Once the camera started to roll Grace modulated her voice and face the camera happily. The interview is supposed to be 10 minutes only but Grace i think ended up with more than 15 minutes. She's a great interviewee and I think Leader is impressed with her. Her questions were nice too. She also did the translation of Leader's answers.

I'm trying to recall what she asked but my mind is not working now. I could only remember her asking him how he likes the Philippines so far. And this is when Leader said that he's extending his vacation after his activity but could not tell where because the might not be able to relax. She also asked him who is the singer he looked up to and we already know the answer for this. As for acting, he said that since he's only been acting for a year he still doesn't have anyone in mind but will tell us probably later. Also, about future acting project, Leader said that he will soon make a drama when he returns to Korea but for not he cannot say anything about it yet. Grace also said something about single mothers but I don't remember the exact question and Leader's answer.

As for Leader's closing, Leader said that he hopes to return to the Philippines and do activities here. Can't remember if he mentioned about SS501 or not but I've a feeling that he's saying group activities.

There are many other things that was said during the interview but I really couldn't remember them. I guess the portions where I wasn't able to understand or remember a thing was when he's looking at us. ^_^

As the interview ended we all went out to give way to Gelli de Belen's interview. But before leaving, Leader bowed.

What's Leader's attitude inside the room while not being interviewed. He's very quiet and doesn't smile. But once the camera started to roll he is full of charm.

Ahh, Kim Hyun Joong you are such an irrisistible man!

Outside we thank Grace and A for taking us. C and I just stayed in front of the room because we saw some friends with their kids who are fans of Leader.

As we just stayed there, a Korean guy who speaks English quite well and who probably got used to A and my face just let us stay there. Then one of the mommies asked permission if she her daughter could ask for Leader's signature. To our suprised he said that he will asked permission then went inside. A few minutes later, the manager came out and saw us and said that just wait. When Gelli de Belen's interview finished Leader came out with his bodyguards, stopped in front of us then the manager's got the things we have for interview.

Alright, as a fan always get ready, k? Bring your CD with you cause you'll never know if you'll have the opportunity.

As we already know that he will sign for us, we asked the kids to hold our stuff. So when Leader came out and asked and his managers asked for the things to be signed the kids gave the stuff to him one by one. But before that one TS had the chance first for her banner and Persona in Seould DVD signed. Then Leader signed the kid's 'Goodbye Hyun Ji Hoo' photobook, C's normal Destination and my Special Destinatin album.

While Leader was signing, we were all gatheref in front of him as in arm's length [my arm k, as i'm short ^^] ! Never never had I imagined tha I could be that close to him face to face. The closest I was able to be with Leader was during the HK fan meet but I was standing behind him. This time he's right in front of me! Then after signing we locked eyes again! The he smiled shyly. ^^ He's like an angel. I can still picture his smile clearly in my mind.

Ahh... Leader!

Thirty minutes after, I heard something crumbling. Huh?! My tummy! I was just reminded that I haven't taken anything since after taking a small bite of bread at breakfast.

Geez, Leader you can even make me forget about food. Oh and one more thing that I've forgotten after having an overload of Leader... I drove home with only my dim lights on and I only realized it when I'm 10 minutes away from our house.

Leader... Leader.. Leader... it's now 4:12am and my mind is still full of you. In 2 1/2 hours I should be getting ready to go to your hotel to pick up 4 of your fans who followed you here to bring them to a breakfast in bay area. Geez, I should really be logging off now.

Oh yeah, I should also be thanking those lady luck who's been sitting on my shoulders. I guess there's more than 2 of them now, yah? And I hope they continue to sit there and give me luck.

[Fan Account] 06.18.10 Unexpected Luck... Leader Overload Part 1

Never thought that I would have this chunk of luck when I learned the Kim Hyun Joong would be visiting the Philippines. I never even thought before of going to see him in the concert that would happen 18 hours from now. But since yesterday, lady luck must have love sitting on my shoulder and even invited another one to sit on the other side today. ^_^

I have told you that yesterday, I saw Leader at the lobby of his hotel in this post of mine. Really that was unexpected. Up to now thinking about that passing look he gave still makes me giddy.

Alright, that was yesterday. What about today? Hmm, I know that I'll be seeing Leader today once again as I got an invite from Chayene. But my mind was conditioned that I'll only be seeing him at around 3PM. So I went to work until I got a call just before lunch that I've to be in Eat Bulaga in less than an hour because Leader will be there. What? Less than an hour? It'll take one hour or so for me to drive there with yesterday being a Friday! But still I said, 'Alright, I'll be there'. ^_^

To cut the story short, I was in Eat Bulaga, less than 45 minutes. Huh! Don't know how I did it [despite the traffic because of an accident] but I did. I then went to the lobby guard and asked for direction to the backstage as instructed by Chayene.

At the backstage saw people running here and there because the show is just about to start. Leader hasn't arrived but I was told that he's on his way. Called my friend in the hotel where Leader is and told her to wait at the lobby because Leader will be passing by the lobby again any minute soon to be in EB [Eat Bulaga].

While waiting for Leader to arrive, I took photo his waiting room and tried practicing on how to aim my camera when he arrives.

A few minutes later, his tall Korean bodyguards were checking the hallway. It took them about 10 minutes to clear the hall of people. Geez, they're so strict! They don't want anyone in the hallway when Leader enter. They're checking who's who and keep on saying no camera. After making sure that the hallway is cleared of unwanted people, the hulking bodyguards then came marching in followed by Leader. I was able to get a very very short video of him until the guard tapped our cameras.

From the entrace I saw Hyun Joong walking tall going to his waiting room [we were standing at the door] looking so handsome but I've a feeling that he's not feeling well. Nelson Canlas together with Chayene, H the cameraman [the news team of 24 Oras] then went inside once Leader was in. I would have also been inside but decided not to go anymore because I don't want to be shooed out. Which I think I made a good decision because just like what I said on my previous post, if I've gone inside my face would have been on the national TV. ^^

So I waited outside for C and H to come out. They then came out of the room because Nelson Canlas has to start his interview. After coming out C also felt that he's not feeling well after she greeted him and he gave her weak smile.

A few minutes later Nelson's interview is over. He came out then gave C 2 signed photos of SS501 back to her. C was very very happy.

Btq, Leader's group was asked to be in EB at 1PM [if I'm not mistaken]. They arrived much earlier than 1PM.

The hallway at the backstage is quite narrow the Korean bodyguards keep on ordering us to clear the hallway. Since we have business at the backstage they cannot shoo us out.

The waiting for Leader to come out on stage is getting longer. The Koreans seems to be getting agitated. Then about 45 minutes have passed the door to the waiting area of Leader opened and Leader came out to my surprised. I was standing just in front of his room texting someone. C went out to meet someone. He saw me gave a little smile walked a bit as if wanting to do something. When he came out of the room all the guards were on alert. They seemed to be so concerned about him asking him what he wants. But I didn't hear Leader saying any words he just walked a few paces back and forth then went back to his room again but this time the guard didn't close the door and just put a stool as a door stopper. I really have a feeling that he's not feeling well.

The dressing room is quite smal but airconditioning is good. But since it's small he must have felt crammed inside and decided to get some air.

At around 1:30PM I was told that Koreans are really getting agitated and keep on asking when Leader is to be put on stage. More waiting for Leader. At this point I then told C that we should try our cds to be autographed. We got a good timing to talked to the interpreter when she was looking for a black pentel pen which C has. So we asked if possible then she said she will asked then walked away with C's black pentel pen. She didn't return then.

Anyway, C then asked Pauline Luna's help [she's an actress and MC] since she knows here. To my surprise Pauline is very very accommodating and really tried her best to get our CDs signed. She tried 3 times asking! I'm really surprised with her kindness. Despite her charm and everything she failed. At anyrate, Pauline, I really appreciated what you did.

After failing to get the CDs signed we gave up. Placed our cds back inside our bag.

More waiting for Leader and the Koreans are really really getting pissed off. They even tried to walk out but of course they didn't. I understand where they're coming from. They were asked to be at the studio at early and it's almost 2 and Leader is still not being interviewed.

So I then asked someone if there's still another appointment for Leader after EB. I was told that they've to go to Araneta Coliseum for sound check then head back to the hotel for the GMA media interview which will happen at 3:30PM.

After realizing that I'm getting a good conversation with this someone, I took this opportunity to ask more information. ^_^ I asked where Leader went last Thursday night and I got confirmation that he did watched soccer with friends in Pasig and came back 2 hours later. Then I asked when he's returning to Seoul, I got an answer but I'm sorry I can't tell you guys when and where he is going. What I can only say is that he'll be staying a while to enjoy Philippines [Leader also mentioned this in his interview with Grace Lee].

A few minutes after getting above info, commotion in the hallway got frantic. Everyone is getting in their position. I then went to the left side of the stage with C to wait for Leader to come out on stage. At first I was only standing below the stage but when I realized that I could actually stand on the stage so I did.

I took a short vid of his interview then took snapshots. With steady hands I think I've taken quite a good shot and was able to stare at him and not at the monitor of my camera.

I then again felt giddy when he saw me! This time not once, not twice but three times he made a passing look! Hehehe, it must be the floral A-line skirt and the Royal Avenue shoes I'm wearing. ^_^ Nah, kidding aside, I guess everyone who would be given by such passing look will be giddy. Waahhh!!! We locked eyes for the 5th time since yesterday! [Shirley, Jung Min's moment at Persona in Seoul Encore I think is the best because it's longer and he communicated with me in a way ^_^]. But yeah 5 times we locked eyes and there's still more in the 2nd part. ^_^. Woot! Woot!

In the video that I posted HERE, you could actually see that he would keep looking at the extreme left side of the stage. Hee, he must have said in his mind 'Again'?

After the interview he walked pass our side and headed straight to the exit.

Me and C then went to my car then left the vicinity of Eat Bulaga then headed to his hotel to be at the GMA programs interview. ^_^

[News][2010.06.18] Hyun Joong - Not Attending 21st Taiwan Golden Melody Award Event

Regarding about attending Golden Melody ceremony, Kim Hyun Joong's representation said that Kim Hyun Joong is comfirmed not able to attend and felt sad about it. Taiwan Warner Music commented, recently had ask SS501 Korea's management company "DSP Media" to attend the ceremony and perform, DSP Media replied that though all 5 members contract ended, members will by using the method of temporary extension of contract, to compromise with all the activities till the end of June and will be happy to attend the Golden Melody ceremony.

But from the beginning where Warner Music wants to get information from DSP Media, DSP Media delayed in telling the details of the show, and they also further delayed the time to reply due to the members comeback in Korea, which causes serious inconvenience for both Warner Music and Golden Melody organisers. CTV said that the factors lie mainly on audience and fans, and thanks Warner Music for contacting and efforts made. As to these changes, they felt sad and regretful.

DSP Media today announced that SS501 members contract ended and their promotion activities ended in the mid of June. Currently all members had stopped their activities, DSP Media has nothing to do with the members, and hence not able to decide on behalf of them regarding about attending Golden Melody ceremony. The organisers request Warner Music to keep in contact with the rest of the members, and up till now, Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Jun had agreed to attend. As for Heo Young Saeng and Kim Kyu Jong are still reconsidering.

Hello this is DSP.

SS501's promotional activities for 'LOVE YA' has had ended its run last week on the 13th June. Due to this short promotional period, we know that fans would surely be feeling very overwhelmed with sadness. SS501 had debuted on June 8, 2005 through KMTV's Music Bank, and so soon, it's already been 5 years that's flowed by~

SS501's contract validation period, as all of you should know, has had ended on June 7, 2010.

While preparing for this time's album and carrying out activities with every member, we had already carried out discussions with one another. In consideration of their expiry of contract, we had decided for their 'Love Ya' promotional period to last for only about 2~3 weeks.

May it be SS501 or may it be us, none of us is certain or clear about the future moves, and because of that, we're not able to talk about it officially as of yet, but once we have decided, we will let all TripleS know.

This time's DESTINATION album's song inclusive 'Let me be the one' will be made into a music video as a form of their comeback period 'making', and it will be ready around mid of next week where you could view it. For more concrete information, we will post about it again~

To the many TripleS who are feeling very upset about this short promotional period, we hope that TripleS could feel slightly less upset after the Let Me Be The One music video is released as you watch and play it.

Though it's only been 2 weeks of promotional period, but to our TripleS who's given them the biggest accolation -- Number 1!! Thank you for your love and concern towards this DESTINATION album. In future too, please show your unyielding love no matter what~

Hyung-joon: I believe it (number of fans) will decrease naturally. You know, I just feel like it will decrease over the time. But there are times when I become sad.
I am sorry that the only word I can express to you all is thank you. There’s just no
other word that I can say and that’s the only word I can express. Thank you for always being there for us and being caring. And I’m sorry that this is all that I can express to you…

Young-saeng: I feel like this is an album that we feel as if we owe an apology to our fans. It’s not because that our songs are not good enough or anything like that, but just because we weren’t able to keep our promise with fans. As you all know, we haven’t been able to release our second formal album yet. We have released our first formal album but not the second one…that’s why we are very sorry to our fans and we want to say thank you to those who are waiting.

Jung-min: You can just regard us as SS501 ourselves. People who are not perfect but always doing our best and trying hard. I think a lot of fans who support us think that we are giving them something to fill in their life but honestly, we think that we are the ones who are getting something from our fans. So if you think about it, we are like having an unrequited love for one another. Or should I say like having a heart ache?

Kyu-jong: Five years is not a short time. If you think about it, it can be a very long
time or on the other hand it is not much big deal of time. But one thing for sure is that there are more times (with fans) ahead of us. We realize that many fans are supporting us right now. And even if some may change their heart or all of you get married and cannot keep supporting us all the way, we will still sing for those who support us in their mind.

Hyun-joong: This comeback may be shorter than LOVE LIKE THIS and therefore
we are sorry to our fans. But we can assure you that we came back with a new
style of music and a music that we feel very confident of…hm…what should I
say…gosh…why do I feel like crying?

From Hyun-joong to Jung-min ->I have known you for 7 years now which means that I have known you for 1/3 of my life and I want to thank you for always trying hard. I want to say to our fans that you can always trust us no matter what we do.
I ask all our fans a continuous support and a long trust of SS501 and we will always have Jung-min by our side, who is the anchor of SS501.

From Kyu-jong to Hyun-joong -> That’s right. Just like what Hyun-joong said, we have been spending such a long time together during our teen age years and into twenties now, and we may even spent more times together than our own parents. We are a big help to each other. We try not to let each other know of difficult or tough times that we each are having but I hope that we wouldn’t do this anymore as we are now old enough to understand it all now. Not long ago, Hyun-joong had a slight mishap and from that accident, his body condition was not much great. But just like we know Hyun-joong, he did recovered fast and his perfectly fine now. I hope he will take care more of himself. Please look forward to what Hyun-joong is going to bring in the near future through dramas, movies and music. I always say thank you which is the only word I can express to all of you. I am sorry that this is the only word that I can say but I promise to you that I will do my best that can make up this word. I will let Hyung-joon talk now.

From Hyung-joon to Kyu-jong -> My heart bleeds that tender-hearted Kyu-jong speaks about that. We have not brought this occasion today to tell our fans that we have already spent 5 years of our life as singers and we are ready to quit. Because we never will, aren’t we? I just want to tell all of our fans that each of us have been actively involved in individual’s activity and now that we have just released an album, LOVE YA, we want it to be a success which I believe it is, right? SS501 is not going anywhere so please everyone, stay by our side and give us your continuous support. Kyu-jong is a guy with a lot of emotions and tears. I thought that I was the one with more emotions but I think Kyu-jong is more a thoughtful guy who sometimes cries alone at home. And therefore, my heart tends to ache when I think of him. So…He is very good friend just like a brother to me. I hope that everything we do in the future will be a success.
And…I am sorry that I cannot suppress my tears today. I’m sorry that I tend to always cry at this kind of occasion. Anyways, I love all of my members. So, I want to say thank you to Kyu-jong, I mean not only to Kyu-jong but to Jung-min, Young-saeng and Hyun-joong as well. I’m sure that our tears that we shed today will be our memories that will be recollected 5 years, 10 years or 50 years from now. Please be especially supportive to Kyu-jong because I’m sure that I could have not done well without him. He’s my good friend who I can talk to when I’m in a midst of having difficult times. He’s like a brother and a family. I hope that all of you (fans) will be here for us and I want to say that I truly love all of my members. Thank you.

From Young-saeng to Hyung-joon -> I ought to be little shy when I have to say things by myself. All of a sudden, this thought came across my mind while listening to other members talk. Five of us were always together for all this time but I don’t think we’ve actually had a time to realize an importance of each other.

One time, I was in Japan for my individual activity and it was my first time being all alone. And it was during that time I felt deeply about the importance of other members and how lucky we are that we are a group who rarely feels lonely. In some way, I have found enlightenment after all these years. I truly want my members to know that I am very grateful that I have them by my side although I haven’t had a chance to express how thank you I am all these years. You know, I always felt like they are like a matter of course to me. They are naturally a thankful cause to me and whom I naturally was to love. I didn’t know what I was going to say today but seeing all other members cry, I wanted to be the only one who does not cry. But I guess I can’t seem to be suppressing my emotion as well…When you guys tell me it’s okay to cry, I feel like I have to suppress my tears more. I’m not sure what to say to our fans as there are too many things to say…

Hyun-joong: I just want to say again to all our fans that we all shed our tears today not because it’s a sad day but because it’s a day for a new take off. Therefore I want everyone to be happy and smiling. It’s a new beginning for us and I know that all of you will be concern and worry about any false rumors or abusive comments that we might get in the future. But don’t worry and just trust us, because we are SS501.

From Jung-min to Young-saeng -> What should I say? First of all, I always feel thankful to Young-saeng…Um…first of all, I have the strongest personality and therefore…So……I don’t think I can do it. I will do it later. I think that will be better. Anyways, I hope all of you can give us your continuous support. Um…When we have next SS501 concert, I hope many of you can be there.

Kyu-jong: Yes, it has been five years already that we and ‘wandu-kong’ have been together. Five years is like a long time or in some way a short time but to me, it feels short. Until the time when I look back today and say, ‘that five years was nothing’, we will try harder and become a better group to all of our fans. Until the day we become ‘the greatest in the world’, we will continue to run forward so don’t you ever cheat on us. You can still have boyfriends though. (Means that the fans can still have boyfriends but don’t become fans of other singers) Thank you so much for this occasion and it was very valuable time for five of us. It was a joyful and happier time than any other concert we had. I guess if I say it all, other members wouldn’t have anything to say. SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong could not stop laughing at Super Junior HeeChul’s humor.

SS501 appeared in last SBS Radio Power FM ‘Kim Heechul Young Street’, has offered a witty joke which to take pride to make the listeners laugh.

When to the time SS501 songs and ads on air, DJ Heechul made a joke which made a big laugh out of the group members. In particular Kim Hyun Joong, whose did not prepare spirit and the features of laughing was put in to the photograph, opened to the public.

Kim Hyun Joong who is convulsed with laughter could not stop laughing fell from a chair, it seemed like he was even laughing to faint. This situation continued after the broadcast begin that he could not stop laughing and with the members who are broadcasting had to fall from a distance.

Hyun Joong’s continuously laugh. The netizens who are facing his laughing photograph responded “The laugh which will faint fans”, “Hyun Joong’s belly laugh”, “I do not know the content (of the joke) but see you laughing, I want to laugh with you”.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong who belonged to SS501 has been working with the new song “Love Ya”. And the DJ Kim Heechul as a member of Super Junior has been being active in “BONOMANA”, reported appeaing in various arts and entertainment programs to turn audience to laugher.
